A walk through the school - attic and outside

This is the final entry in the "walk through" series of blogs. If you have read them all you will have seen all the downstairs and first floor of the school. In this one I am going to show you the attic and also a fair few pictures taken outside around the land and the outbuildings.

There are a lot of pictures in this update so I shall begin where I left off...

We are on the 1st floor landing, stairs down to the right, attic stairs behind the door

So there you have it. I have more pics than this but I didn't want to bore you so I've pulled out the best ones. As things change I will put more pictures on (obviously) but it'll be very interesting for me to look back at these in a couple of years and remind myself of just where I have come from.

A walk through the school - upstairs

My previous blog was a walk through of the downstairs of the school building. For this one I will walk you through the upstairs.

Here goes, follow me..........

So there you are; that is a brief walk through of the upstairs. Next I will do one of these to show you around the roof space (which isn't much) and the land (if I have some good pictures of it which I think I do)

Celebration (hopefully not premature)

The animation above is a fair representation of the moves I pulled in the office yesterday when I received an email from my contact saying that the architect had started work on my project!!

She is supposed to be contacting the municipality to talk about starting work on the roof pre-project approval today, though as I have already detailed in an earlier blog the man there did say that it would be OK so long as we didn't change anything about the angles of the roof.

Here's hoping that this celebration is not premature and progress continues from now.

A walk through of the school - downstairs

This update is mainly pictures and consists of photographs taken during my second architect meeting visit to Bulgaria. I will attempt to describe clearly how you are travelling through the school. If I fail, I'm sorry. I may refer to some rooms with their planned future usage which will become useful when read alongside the blog describing my thoughts for the design.

Anyway, without any further ado....

You enter the school into this little entrance hall

This is the ground floor entrance hall with the first door we will go through far left

Going through that room you get to this small one

Back in the down stairs landing, we're heading through the door to the right

The first room off the corridor is a hay store right now

At the far end of the corridor is this store room

The second room on the right will be the kitchen

From the kitchen, this corridor extends....

Off the corridor are four small rooms which will be toilet, shower, wash room and utilities

At the far end you turn into the wood store, this wall will have shutters in place of one of the windows
