The girls are back

It's another short one today, and obviously I wasn't updating yesterday as we didn't have the men in the end. They were still dealing with the situation at their home. Angela and Rosie did get home safely, however, and Rosie got to see her tree house (her comment was "but where is the house?!" which was so funny, but she does like it) but I got no pictures as it was another busy day all round. It was just good to have them home.

This morning was a bright start and we were all up early however Rosie's eye infection was back so it was decided to keep her off school again and Angela took her to the doctor to get it checked out. While they were gone a helicopter flew very low over our house and I snapped a picture; later another went and Bekir said it was to do with a huge wild fire that has been burning for four days about 30km away. Scary stuff! Bekir was on his own today as Halil had other chores to take care of, and he worked away to get as much of the roof done as he could. We are due rain on Sunday so getting this completed would be great. Rosie was steadily worse through the day, then perked up a bit and I went and sat on the new roof with her and watched Bekir. After this she became much worse and we were very concerned but her temperature seems to have dropped once again. Back to the doctor for her tomorrow! Bekir worked until the usual time but the sun was setting as he wrapped up.

And that is it; thanks for reading, I'll be back tomorrow.
