Well what a horrible thing to wake up to.
Mo is dead. I came in to find him in exactly the same position as he was when I went to bed last night and he was non responsive and cold. I picked him up and there was no movement or anything. I am so upset by this; that little bugger was a charming determined fella and I was really hoping that, by my looking after him, he may have had a chance of surviving.
I think he just never ate enough as, compared to the amount that Jesus puts away, he was nibbling about 1/1000th of the food.
So, here are a load of pictures of the little fella. I'll miss you, Mo.
| The day he arrived |
| Exploring his first home |
| When I thought he would eat bugs |
| He always moved around |
| He never did stay in that shelter I made |
| In his new, larger, home |
| One of the few times I caught him eating |
| He found a patch of sun to rest in |
| Mo loved soaking in his water |
| He let nothing stop him |
| Though he did sometimes get stuck in his pond |
| I am going to have this picture printed and framed |
| He had the habit of falling asleep mid stride |
| This time he fell asleep with his head on a rock as a pillow |
| But even with bad back legs he got around |
| I needed to save him many times a day |
| All that exploring and tipping is tiring, y'know |
| As I said, he gave it a go always |
| Mo with his lucky clover |
| When Jesus arrived, Mo made friends |
| Here you can see the difference in their characters |
| As per, Mo is off exploring |
| He was ALWAYS active |
| But got into scrapes like this multiple times a day |
| Here he is, striving as always. |
RIP.
:'(
ReplyDeleteThat is sad news... any idea why, or just "one of those things"?
ReplyDeleteWell I think he maybe wasn't eating properly; maybe i didn't give him stuff that he wanted to eat, though he did nibble a bit. I don't know. His back legs never worked so he wasn't fully well from the first. Such a shame :(
DeleteSorry. RIP Mo xx
