Another very very busy day for me at work, and as it was Friday it was also a day for Rosie to have off school anyway.

Bekir and Halil collect the old shuttering |

And then attach it to the wall |

The end wall is complete |

The ramp is also ready |
We took advantage of the day off and Angela took Rosie to the doctor to get this cough looked at. Rosie was a very good girl and she came away with a load of medication which hopefully will help. While they were gone I was working and the men were cracking on with the final tasks before the next concrete pour. First of all, and at various times through the day, they collected the old wooden shuttering to reuse it at the other end and they spent the rest of the day cutting and attaching the wooden frames both at the edge by the wall but also a lot of effort to get angles correct was spent on the ramp. By the end of the day all that is left now before the cement pour is the central wooden beams and then the pipework by the toilet. It is looking good for pour on Tuesday.

Rosie with her new easel |
Rosie had another special big treat day today having achieved a perfect week with her stickers so Angela took her to the toy shop and she looked at all the toys and ended up choosing an easel with a chalk board and a paper roll and a magnetic sheet. She had a lot of fun playing with it after some lovely pool time first with Angela then me when I finished work.
This evening there is an outdoor music event in town and it is very loud so I will be locking myself in my painting room with my headphones on until they shut up :D sooo loud. Thanks for reading, back Monday.
