Talking of Rosie this morning she did some drawing and writing before school; she's very proud of her attempts and so are we. The men were in on time but headed out straight away to pick up some locks for the doors. We have gone with a traditional door handle for the main door, and a shooting bolt for the back door. It took a long time to fabricate all the metal parts, including a very cool little cover for the main door, but now it is done it is looking great. They completed the main gate first then moved to the back and put a lovely hacky extra handle on so we can open and close from both sides. The final thing for them for the day was to paint the gates and their frames. Tomorrow will be some cement work, putting the chicken wire on the gates, and then starting to run the barbed wire. We're getting closer!

When Rosie got home from school she was not wanting to go in the pool but then we had a message that the grandson did so we opened it up and had a lovely time. Today as well the new clips to hold the cover on arrived so tonight we will be testing these out.

So there it is; time to run down and read to Rosie before bed. Thanks for reading, back tomorrow.
