Library Walls and Gym Tiling

 Welcome back as another day of renovations is past.

Today dawned very bright, though again I had a bad night sleep for no good reason. Our morning chores out the way, Rosie helped Angela to carry stones so she can continue making the lovely flower beds next to our path. I have one more tyre to dig in, which I should do tomorrow morning really, and then it'll be next to done. The men were in on time and we went out almost straight away, Bekir with Angela and Rosie and I, to get the carpet for the library, and then a load of other materials. We have to wait at most a month for our carpet so that will give us time to get ready. Sally and Halil back at home were continuing the library work, putting primer on the walls and repairing holes and gaps in the walls. Bekir continued with the tiling once we got home and finished up the platform which looks great.

The afternoon was noisier again and Sally and Halil worked to put in the channels for the lights. We are going to put the network cable through plastic skirting down the bottom so we can swap it out if need be however the mains supply for the kitchen runs here, and we'll also need plugs and lights in the library. After some discussion we worked out the tiling arrangement in the gym which should look good entirely down to Angela's suggestions. By the end of the day the tiling was about 1/3 done on the floor, and the channels for the lights on the ceiling were being done. A good day all round, and we are flying towards completion and the chance to do even more this year than expected!
