Windowsills and Ventilation pipes

Today I'm very tired and I have just wasted a load of energy with my email account playing silly buggers and refusing to work so I'm going to be short and sweet and then go to bed, I think.

The day began warm and sunny again and the men arrived while we were at breakfast. First thing Bekir and Sally were putting together the wood and rebar for the windowsills while Halil cleaned the remaining stickers off the doors and windows. We have decided to take down the fencing that was in place for Bekci around the entrance and so Bekir quickly removed the gate which made it much easier for them getting in and out. He also took apart the old fence, the first one that I made with Angela when we first got Bekci, and tidied it into the Green Building. It was then time to mix cement and get it poured into the forms.

With this done the rest of Bekci's fence was removed and Halil got stuck in to cutting the grass and clearing it all out. Sally meanwhile was onto plastering again, making the inside look great. I was outside with Rosie for a bit and was most amused to see a poppy has grown on our concrete driveway and is blooming. Of course this is actually quite bad as it is damaging the drive but it's also pretty. The next step for Bekir and Halil was the ventilation pipe for the toilet reservoir and this was fitted in place, with the spinny top on it, however the fittings were not long enough so they'll have to complete this task tomorrow. After this they did some more cleaning around the new doors and windows before Bekir went and filled in the holes from Bekci's fence ready for painting.

I'll leave you with this picture of Rosie enjoying the sheep going up past the side lane. She stood and watched them walk past for ages.

Cheers for reading.
