This is my blog about emigrating to Bulgaria. It starts with the idea and will take you through all the steps I am taking to create my new life in this wonderful idyllic country. Thank you for reading.

Rosie has just to her bath and I've got a few minutes to try and smash through this update so here goes; I want the whole evening for hobbying as it's been a tired day today and I've not achieved half as much as I expected.

Just a miserable morning
Plank work begun
The sun came out, briefly
More roofing work
I was up early and had a lovely time with Rosie until Angela woke, who'd had another disturbed night. When I start working this ability to take Rosie all morning will go away so I'm making the most of it. It was quite a miserable start to the day, weatherwise, with drizzle and low cloud. As soon as the men arrived I went with Bekir to buy more drill bits (and made sure to pick up multiple packets) and Rosie came with us which was lovely. She was most interested in the wild dogs, and the big trucks on the road. I was also able to help a mate out with some courier issues. The men got stuck in with the planking over the ribs and when we got back Bekir used the new drills, and new bolts we bought, to secure the wooden beams in more places then helped for the rest of the day on the roofing work. We had a call from the garage that Thomas was fixed so decided to go immediately before lunch so we now have two vehicles again which is great. He's not making nasty sounds any more going round corners which is also great.
Halil cutting a plank to size
Bekir barefoot and drilling
That is Angela's toolbelt
Up a ladder, and being laughed at by Sally
The rain falls, twice
How it looked at the end of the day
The rest of the day was taken up with lots of hammering and sawing and noise and also loads of thunderstorms blowing around. It's been a filthy year so far. Angela went out to get a delivery today while Rosie slept and it was a box of goodies for Rosie which she really liked. We went onto the balcony to watch the men, all three of us, which was great as well. I climbed the ladder once to get a picture onto the roof and Bekir and Sally laughed as they know I'm scared of heights. The evening has been pretty good, but Rosie's teeth are bad so that's difficult.
I'll leave you with this video that may be a bit of a fail as the regularly lightning stopped as soon as the camera came out.
