A very long week is finally ending and I really could do with a rest.

Hikmet breaking sticks |
Bekir on electrics again |
Second coat of paint on the walls |
The sockets next to the chair space |
Sally does the skirting |
Bekir looking at light fittings |
I was up for Rosie this morning and Angela still had her bad tummy but I had a small lie in anyway; The sun was making a fire in the distance while I was washing up but that was pretty much the last we saw of it. I dropped her off and it was raining when I got back however Hikmet was in again and working on the wood. He is a hard worker indeed. Inside the men cracked on with their tasks. Bekir spent most of the day wiring up the plugs in the library, including one of the special UK ones with USB chargers. Sally and Halil put the second coat of paint on and it is starting to look really good in there. With that done the sections without skirting board were fixed up, as they had done in the upstairs corridor. Towards the end of the day Bekir began fitting the lights but then the day ended. No window people, who are apparently still waiting for glass and may come next week now. I hope they do.
Light hits the hills |
Sunset |
So I'll leave you with a couple of shots of the end of the day when the sun descended below the level of the clouds. A beautiful sight indeed.
Thanks for reading.
