Balcony and Stairs

It's going to be a short one tonight for a couple of reasons, mainly because I had a lovely evening for beer and a pizza with Dincher and I'm tired and want to go to bed!

It was once again a frosty morning this morning but Rosie was again good to be dropped to school; when I got back from that the men were on the balcony working already, firstly finishing the preparations for the cement which included trimming back some of the insulation and then putting temporary dams in place to prevent the cement poured inside from spilling right through underneath the windows. They got all the cement done out there and left it to go off over night and will go back out to finish tomorrow. The next pylon was also being raised today; they are huge!

With everything done on the balcony Bekir and Halil came inside and got to work on that task; Halil up the scaffold doing the plastering on the ceiling with Bekir working on sorting the lights out. It is good they are able to be flexible enough to switch jobs like this. I've kept working on the model railway for Santa's Express though no extra picture yet and this evening, as I've mentioned, I went for a nice meal with Dincher before walking home just now.

So there you are; final day of school for Rosie tomorrow before the lockdown shuts the school - I'm so gutted for her! Thanks for reading.
