Just another day

Today has been another day of busy at work and workmen in making noise and progress.

Rosie was back to school today, which was great, and she did a whole day again so is back in the swing of things well. We only had Sally and Bekir as Halil was off doing other things and they got stuck in to the tasks at hand with Sally up a very unsafe looking balanced ladder covering over the last of the electrics and Bekir up a ladder putting in light attachments that will support out light fittings. After he finished that Bekir went into the Art Room and put the conduit on the wall for the network so now I only have to fit the box and that's done. Sally, meanwhile, had put the scaffold up and was plastering the stairs; this is a much safer arrangement than that ladder. Around lunchtime the window people arrived to measure for the balcony windows and we discovered that the wall, put up by the useless guy who did the roof so badly the first time, was not actually flat. Now Bekir will have to fix this  before we can get the windows installed however they can be fabricated as the measurements are all done. The day ended up with Bekir finishing the battening on the wall outside Room 13 and Sally keeping on with the plastering.

So there you are; another day done. Thank you for reading.
