Today has been another good day, without the men having to go out to get materials.

First of all, however, is a picture from last night just before I headed to bed. Such a stunning view.

So the men were in and on it today getting stuck into finishing up the carpeting upstairs. This involved lots of fitting skirting board, drilling and securing lots of alumnium strips to both join some split sections and also put across in front of all the doorways. Halil remembered at one point to go check out the kitchen door that wasn't shutting (and got it fixed). The drilling was very loud downstairs, but it was good to get it done and by the end of the day we are now ready to start on the stairs. This is very exciting!

This evening I took Rosie out for food as Angela sadly hasn't been feeling well today.
