Today has been a day of quick progress and the men having to go out to buy more supplies throughout the day.

The progress upstairs has been amazing today really. The men started with rolling out the second stretch of carpet up to the top of the stairs and making sure it was in the correct place. We then discussed again the way to join the two sections and have gone with a strip of aluminum that looks nice and is hardwearing. Bekir then got started fitting the skirting board and this precipitated another trip out to get some bits that I had forgotten to order initially, like strips to go between two lengths of skirting board, and also more metal for edges and to hold down the carpet across the front of doors. By the end of the day they had achieved loads, and hopefully tomorrow will also be super productive as they won't have to go out again.

I'll leave you with a picture of Rosie, who has been off school today because of a public holiday, swinging this afternoon. She's had a lovely day with Angela today but I think Angela is looking forward to back to school tomorrow!
