After yesterday's epic update, it is good that today is a little quieter.
Thelma goes for a walk, slowly but steadily |
I'll open with Thelma this morning going for a walk in the garden. She is still very weak, and has lost a lot of weight, but she is looking so much brighter and has been steadily improving all day. This is such a relief for us all.
My mitre saw is in place and ready for use |
Working out how to attach the sockets |
Securing a socket in place |
Clipping up the cables with cable tidies |
Carpet up and out the way |
We have some shelves as well now |
The men were in on time today and got stuck in to the final parts of the workshop. First of all they got the mitre saw leveled and secured with butterfly bolts so I can easily remove it if needed. Next up it was the electrics and they attached wooden blocks below the bench where I wanted my plugs and then secured and wired in the double sockets in the correct place. They added one extra for the two machines to plug into nicely out of the way, which was an improvement over my idea, and then it was a lot of tidying and sorting out for a bit. This included adding another storage shelf to my wood rack and lifting the remaining carpet up there. For the last little bit of the day I asked Bekir to put some shelves into the cupboard in the large workbench I have and now I will be able to tidy and organise everything even better.
Rosie in her scary mask |
Xena and Dutch hanging out |
A beautiful view across the top bank |
Sat chilling and looking at the view |
A few extra pictures today. First of all it is Halloween of course and so Rosie was wearing her mask for a little bit while we did the watering and played with the puppies after school. Xena and Dutch are really getting on well, they played together a lot today. At one point Rosie and I ended up walking on the top bank enjoying the view and taking some time on the little seat up there. Awesome times.
So there it is. Thanks for reading and back tomorrow.
