Hopefully today's update will be short so let's get to it.

The men were in on time and got stuck in to their task continuing to work on the stairs. First of all Bekir cleaned up all the work he'd done yesterday while Halil removed the shuttering on the side of the stairs. With this done they got started on a second cost on the faces of the steps, and also tidying the sides. Next up was a skim onto the mini landing half way up and then finally they tidied the ledge above the door. They really are getting close to carpet now, though Bekir said he wants to do another coat of plaster on the walls first, and there is still some cement work to be done actually up on the main floor level.

Ends for the raised bed

For myself I got out for a little time to do the next step on the new raised bed. It was too windy to finish this off so hopefully I'll do that tomorrow.
