Stairs starting

Today is going to be a nice short update as it was a bit of single-task day.

Starting to pressure wash the stairs

The first thing the men did this morning was finishing off the plastering up the sides of the stairs and it was looking great. Halil continued doing the top of the wall while Bekir then got started hammering and chipping away at the stairs to remove excess material and smooth them out a bit. It was a slow process and noisy but it looked good when it was done. They then got the power washer out and washed down the stairs, which has caused dirty rivulets to run down the lovely clean newly plastered walls; sometimes they don't think I don't think :D anyway, tomorrow they can start to actually build up the stairs to make them even and ready for carpeting!

Soil going into the raised bed

While Angela collected Rosie I went and filled in the hole from the tree I finished digging out yesterday and then I went on to sieving and shifting soil into the new raised bed. I should get that finished tomorrow as well as another raised bed being made I hope.

Louise is fast asleep

I'll leave you with Louise fast asleep on me just now after Rosie went to bed. She's a sweetheart.
