Progress in the Cupboard under the Stairs

Today has been a busy day for me and so I've not got so many pictures however the men have made a load of progress. Let's get to it.

First thing this morning Bekir did a little more work on the electrics including running and securing the line across the channel they'd chiseled yesterday. Halil was wielding the hammer drill knocking down more uneven stones from throughout the space. They also worked more on the back window to make it larger. The next task was to build a frame for a small windowsill outside this new window and then a small amount of cement was mixed and poured into the window. It is sloping slightly towards the outside to try and prevent rain from running down into the room. Finally for the day the men mixed up a load of var and worked on the ceiling round the back corner of the Cupboard under the Stairs, where it got very low down - poor Bekir wedged in there.

The men took Thomas today with the final fridge from the patio so that's good as it is continuing to tidy up the patio. Thanks for reading and we'll be back tomorrow.
