Balcony and plastering inside

It rained heavily all last night and was really strong winds as well. I stayed up stupidly late watching a livestream and slept in until very nearly 8am! So did Angela and Rosie, however; a late start for us all.

I was therefore pretty much straight to my desk and working but today has been a super productive day compared to the last few. Finally I have fixed the issues I have been struggling with. The men today split their work up and it was great to have progress inside once again. Bekir was on the balcony doing the tiling along the very top of the wall and I made it clear that they should do no outside work today as it was so wet; the land was starting to get standing water on it. Halil, therefore, mixed some plaster and spent the day plastering when he wasn't doing little bits to help Bekir and like this we have made a huge amount of progress. We may even be painting next week and that means we may be able to get the carpet in the library before Christmas! Amazing.

After work I got to play with Rosie and Thelma in the lounge and also on the balcony. Rosie is getting really good with the ball, kicking it and throwing it well. She also likes to carry her balance bike rather than riding it. Angela today got her some balloons which were a great success until they burst which scared the puppies; Rosie absolutely loves balloons however so that's going to remain a thing.

There you are; a slightly more productive day all around I think (or maybe it is just me feeling better abot things). Thanks for reading.

    1. Thank you for asking; his wife was unwell so he has been looking after her, and picking up her tasks on their homestead. As far as I know she is OK, and he is very well indeed.
