Just more ceiling stuff

Today has been all about one thing only for the men - a boring day for them but necessary.

All day both of them have been working on putting the mortar on the ceiling in under the stairs. They did the second coat on the low section round the corner and then with that done (and after a trip to buy more materials - why they can't estimate how much they need I'll never know) they went onto the first coat for the rest of the ceiling. Towards the end of the day Halil swapped to another task for a bit - he was wire brushing the walls to get the loose dust off in preparation for starting to mortar the walls. By the end of the day the first coat was finished on all the ceiling and the walls are nearly ready for mortar.
