So today has been very much a one trick pony day.
Halil finally finishing this part |
Making the gap here good |
Joints needed filling |
Bekir continues along the crawl space |
End wall is begun |
Covering up the wooden beams |
A lovely neat end wall now |
Very very dusty work |
Halil was finishing off the plastering for the ceiling above the stairs while Bekir went into the crawl space and was filling the gap between the wooden beam and the ceiling. With the plastering done Halil moved on to plastering over the joints in the crawl space while Bekir was working his way along the crawl space and into the taller part of the storage. He then went to the next task which was cement on the end wall around the windows, which were still unfinished up until today. They did have to head out to the builders merchant to get some more wood shuttering. Halil, meanwhile, was now plastering over the beams along the corridor preparatory for proper plastering of those walls. Bekir did a great job on those end walls and they were working late to make up for leaving early yesterday so when I last went to check, just before our dinner, Halil was up the ladder sanding the ceiling.
So there we are; another day done. Thanks for reading and back tomorrow.
