Ready for cement, but bad weather delays

Today's update is going to be super short mainly because I've been very busy with work, and there hasn't been much chance to photograph, nor much to take pictures of really.

I'll open with a picture I took yesterday evening of an absolutely awesome cloud building to the north of us. The storm did hit late evening and we had to shut our windows but it wasn't that bad, and didn't disturb my sleep thankfully.

The men were in a little later than normal but got stuck in to finishing the drainage. Mid morning they ran out of cement so had to go to the shops to buy more. Before they went we discussed how we would be plumbing the toilet pipes into the collection points and they picked up the required connectors and taps. They then had to go out to bring the driver of the cement pump up to check out the pour. Sadly the forecast is so bad that even though they could do tomorrow or Thursday he cannot do tomorrow and Thursday/Friday is forecast torrential rain all day. This is very frustrating but we cannot pour cement in that weather; it will have to wait until the weather is better. They have fitted the pipes into place and we've discussed placement of all the bits that'll go in the little pump house down here so we are making progress. The final task of the day for Bekir and Halil was to start shifting the slabs and final bits of rubble before they set the grid down. A good day, though not very much visual progress.

After work I got to look after Rosie again and we had lots of play time doing various games including getting onto the outside balcony for a bit as the rain clouds gathered and threatened. It did start raining a bit during dinner but then stopped again. The forecast is really terrible though so we shall see how much progress in made for the rest of the week.
